Wow, been here since saturday and today is the first evening I'm actually sober. Well, not really but enough to post a blog entry!
The Navi-Bar (--> the place to be in Glücksburg^^) has a new barkeeper and since then the prices for beer have been massively lowered and they offer tarte flambée now. Definitely a good reason for staying up late and drinking more than is healthy...anyway I don't know a single sailor who doesn't drink beer.
And there is another very good reason to drink tons of beer: I can't stand my colleaque! He is listed as our head instructor in the sailing course I'm running together with him and another sailmate this week. He totally annoyed me on day one by meeting some friends and having fun while we had to work and he promised to make up for it on that evening shift but that never happened and since then it's only getting worse. Not only that he seems to be very lazy and not willing to work, he is the most incompetent team leader I've ever had. Told him we had to talk about it to solve the problems, but he finds that this is not necessary and that we should just go on like that. I'm so glad the week's almost over! I'm the head instructor for the course next week and I hope I'd be a better one than he is....
I made a lot of new friends among the other instructors and met many old friends and thinking about my friends I'm already missing them although I'm still in Germany and will come back here every now and then to meet them when I live in Croatia. And I'm still missing the guy I wrote the song for. Does anyone know a good method to forget someone? Except for drinking more beer of course...
